The Thornton Public Library is located in the south suburbs of Chicago. We provide books and ebooks, programming, movies, electronic research tools, and computer access to the public. Our service population is 2,368.
Mission Statement
The Thornton Public Library will provide services and materials that will meet the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of the community. The library will seek to maintain adequate funding and staff in order to keep this commitment.
